In August 2023, Phil Mason taught an 8-part mini-series on Progressive Christianity, exploring the movement’s main tenets and the biblical themes they are intentionally deconstructing. In that introductory series, Phil only gave a brief overview of the central issues because of the limitations of time. In Part 2 of this series, Phil aimed to establish and ground 21st-century believers in the specific biblical theologies that are under siege from the Progressive movement. This series is a biblical response designed to strengthen Christians in a clear biblical worldview that upholds the inspiration and authority of Scripture whilst addressing the concerns of those drawn to the deconstructionist movement. The course is also designed to inform evangelicals of trends that are finding traction in the wider Christian church. This is a hot-button topic that should be of tremendous interest to anyone wrestling with some of the great theological issues of our time.
